Jap Jap reinterpreted the dreamy pop / rock track “Cherry Bark & Almonds” by UK shoegazers Daniel Land & the Modern Painters. It is part of the “Sleeping With The Past” album-length remix EP that was released January 2013 on the Daniel Land Bandcamp page.

Daniel Land & The Modern Painters – Cherry Bark & Almonds (Jap Jap Remix)

Jap Jap saw this band play in the Netherlands in a small bassment and he made contact with lead singer Daniel Land, who joined Engineers later in 2010 together with Ulrich Schnauss. He asked Jap Jap to be part of this project. The result is a magnificent collection of atmospheric electronics, shoegaze and dreamy pop.
