Seascapes from Haugalandet
Trond Jostein Pettersen loves the sea, and he has spent hours after hours with his camera along the sea line at Haugalandet, a traditional district situated on the western coast of Norway. He created an animated slideshow with a selection of inspiring photos of the rough sea, in black and white. Where the earth and sky collide.
Bad weather. Nice weather. Any day. It's such a spectacular place. Here are some of my pictures from many of my hours with the sea line.
The music Trond used in the video is a remix of the Jap Jap track “Coloured Cubes” by Morgenfish, from the EP “A Resonant Discovery” that is available as a FREE download.
In 2013 Trond continues his study of photography in black and white (or monochrome) to further grow and gain more experience in this specific area of expertise. He even mentioned considering a life time continuation of the project. Check out another outstanding video, supported by the track “Evening Sun Sky” from the 2008 album “This Is Where We’ll End“.
